This whitepaper discusses a technique of plant performance analysis that is conducted in real time, based on regulatory position. It can also serve as a basis for more in-depth assessment and analysis for the prevention of NRC-identified issues.

Description

Since the inception of the Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) in 2000, the NRC has instituted methodologies for review and categorization of findings, violations, and observations, which are provided to sites on a quarterly basis via inspection reports. Additionally, special or larger scheduled inspections are reported in stand-alone inspection reports.
