Conducted a pilot program to apply the MARATHON "Pipeline" process performance monitoring and improvement technique to the VY material supply process from prediction and anticipation of need for material through all steps up to and including return of excess material from field. Formed a process team, applied process improvement concepts to monitoring and performance improvement, instituted process improvements to solve problems and to take advantage of opportunities, and developed techniques to be applied to other processes.
